ESA Supporting the Military since WWII

During World War II, Epsilon Sigma Alpha sponsored an "Empty Your Purse for Uncle Sam" campaign, one of the first nationally organized activities of the organization. In this door-to-door campaign, members collected metal for recycling into munitions. ESA also collected books and other reading material for distribution to Soldiers deployed around the world. On Dec. 3rd a New Orleans ESA chapter donated more than $2,000 of food and comfort products to Sailors assigned to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB).
